Alpine wildlife is abundant on Whistlers Mountain. Listen for the Hoary Marmot’s whistling alert call, watch for the White-tailed Ptarmigan and have your cameras at the ready for Ground Squirrels, Pikas and perhaps a Mountain Goat.
For short periods of the summer, the meadows are lit up with the blooming of thousands of alpine flowers.
Please help protect the beauty of Jasper National Park by staying on designated trails and refrain from removing any rocks or vegetation from the area. If animals are spotted, please keep your distance for the safety of both yourself and the animal.
